Fuck yeah, Wiccan!

This Tumblelog is dedicated to
Wiccan
, aka William "Billy" Kaplan, who was formerly known as Asgardian. Wiccan is a member of the Young Avengers, a superhero team set in the fictional universe of Marvel Comics.

Wiccan and the rest of the Young Avengers--except Stature and Vision--were created by Allan Heinberg and Jim Cheung.

“Billy’s Firsts”
The fight scene at St. Patrick’s Cathedral. The first subtle hint of a special relationship between Billy (as the erstwhile Asgardian) and Teddy (Hulkling) is dropped. It’s also the first time, out of many times, that Billy spams Teddy’s name.

Not doing too good right now, but here goes- this is a fanart of one of my favourite characters.
Billy Kaplan, aka Wiccan; a member of the Young Avengers. He’s a reality warper who likes to throw lightning around. Tbh, there isn’t much he can’t do… Marvel ahoy.

One of the most realistic renditions of Wiccan that I’ve ever seen.

“Billy’s Firsts”
The first time Billy and Teddy are shown together without the rest of the group, providing more evidence for their relationship this early in the series.
[I find this a bit weird. Teddy can fly right? So this scene between the two seems rather strange. Perhaps in order to maintain the appearance that Teddy is simply “just another Hulk”, Allan Heinberg refrained from showing that Teddy could fly until later on.
But, within the context of the story, why would Hulkling choose not to fly during this scene?]
